Jewel will be an excellent addition until they are fully bridged to the Kaitlyn chain. It is still a token with high risk after one chain ruined Syndervale.
Are the proposed tokens currently at the top for the Heimdal social score? (Can’t check right now because heimdal.land is under maintenance.
My concern is that we should have discrete criteria that qualifies a token to be included in the aHype basket. Like top 10 tokens based on Heimdal Social score. I don’t think it’s a good idea to have all the tokens in the fund to be based on popular vote.
I do however think it would be cool to have top 10 Social Score tokens plus 1 revolving Community Pick Token in the basket. This way the community can provide a boost to a project we are hyped about while still maintaining a fund that exposes the fund to a top list of most popular Avalanche tokens.
This is a legit concern. I’ve to say that internally before suggesting any token additions we had checked the socials scores for may Avalanche Tokens, and while heimdall application remains off, you can query socials scores from its back-end here.
Right now it is the following:
avax: 15874.92138719915
gmx: 3375.480232897396
joe: 1429.158252432529

yak: 173.4861092978165
The allocations in the basket would be equal to the one token score divided by the sum of the total scores from all the tokens inside the basket.
I don’t think this is yet precise enough to be a criteria for token addition, but if our community recognizes the token as promising, with good fundamentals, and it holds enough social score on Heimdall to have at least around 1% of the basket allocation, it may be worth adding to the index since it would be interesting the token already added to the index before a crazy social growth.
